Documentary watching & cosy hangout evening

February 15 @ 19:00 - 22:00

Experience swing dance in a new way at Happy Feet Studio! Join us for the screening of "The Call of The Jitterbug" documentary, named after Cab Calloway's iconic song. This documentary is one of the best documentaries about Lindy Hop produced so far. You will hear from legendary dancers and musicians like Norma Miller, Frankie Manning, and Dizzy Gillespie through in-depth oral history interviews. You will also watch stunning old footage, featuring many of Lindy Hop's defining moments.

After the documentary showing, the evening’s hosts (Monica, Isak, Rui and Lasse) would like to spend some time talking about the history of Lindy Hop, and showing a few more historical clips, that are important to know as a Lindy Hopper.

From 20.30 the dance floor will be open, so you can put on your dancing shoes on and socialize with the others on the dancefloor, or hang out in our café.

This event is free, so just show up on the day and enjoy!
