Summer in Style with Anna Portell
We are super excited to offer you this one day of workshops with amazing international swing dance instructor Anna Portell. She is visiting all the way from Spain 
and is eager to share her passion for swing dancing with the Copenhagen scene.

She will be teaching two workshops on Sunday, July 27th:
Jazz with style – 10.30 to 12.00
In this workshop, you will learn a fun and exciting jazz routine put together by Anna. But this workshop is not about the steps, but about how you style them. As the song goes, ain’t what you do it’s the way that you do it!
There will be both simpler styling choices as well as tricky dynamic movements to challenge even the more seasoned Jazz dancers. The workshop is for jazz dancers of all levels, but we recommend you have taken at least a few courses of Solo Jazz previously.
Followers styling – 13.00 to 14.30
In this solo Lindy Hop workshop, you will learn how to interpret the leader’s signals, maintain rhythm, and move with fluidity and confidence on the dance floor. We will put emphasis on improving your balance and responsiveness. We will also explore footwork variations in order to develop your personal style to make your dancing more dynamic and expressive. The workshop is for Lindy Hop followers who has taken classes for at least one year.
