PROTECTIONS UNDER DANISH LAW

We have chosen to provide a limited refund period – see below. However, please note the following: according to Danish law, we are not required to offer any refunds in case of customer cancellations. In Denmark, purchases of sport/cultural/entertainment activities with a set date are exempt from the normal cancellation protections when purchasing online. More precisely, in Danish Law the following activities doesn’t require the organizer to offer a refund option:
“Aftaler om indkvartering, transport, forplejning, som fx servering og catering, rekreative fritidsaktiviteter, underholdnings- og idrætsaktiviteter og lignende kulturbegivenheder, hvis det fremgår af aftalen på, hvilken dag eller i hvilken periode aftalen udføres”.

HAPPY FEET STUDIO REFUND POLICY

WEEKLY COURSES
Happy Feet Studio gives all customers a special right to cancel up to 5 days (120 hours) before a course is set to begin. 
Any cancellation later than this, no matter the reason, does not resolve in any refund.

SINGLE WORKSHOPS OR PARTIES
Happy Feet Studio gives all customers a special right to cancel up to 10 days before a workshop or party is set to begin. 
Any cancellation later than this, no matter the reason, does not resolve in any refund.

WEEKEND-LONG EVENTS (e.g. The Happy Getaway)
Happy Feet Studio gives all customers a special right to cancel up to 30 days (1 month) before an event is set to begin. 
Any cancellation later than this, no matter the reason, does not resolve in any refund.

OUR REASONING FOR THIS REFUND POLICY

When we get cancellations, we always try to find someone else to take the free spot in the class. However, if the cancellation is received too close to the start date of the course/workshop, or after it has begun, it is impossible to find someone to take the spot. Offering refunds at this late time would result in a financial risk for our business, due to the fact that we weren’t able to sell that specific spot in the class, or even worse, the risk of classes ending up with too few students to function and us having to cancel the whole course/workshop at a late time. 

HOW TO ASK FOR REFUND

To ask for refund in accordance with the above time limits, please send us your name and bank info for the account you would like to receive the refund into. Write us at: info@happyfeetstudio.dk

GIFT CARDS – REFUNDS

Please note that under Danish Law purchases of Gifts Cards are protected by the general right of cancellation with full refund inside two weeks of purchasing. This is only relevant to the purchasing of the giftcard itself and does not apply to any services that the giftcard might be used to purchase at a later time.
