We’ve listened to your feedback and made some big changes. Instead of the ELEF (Everybody Leads, Everybody Follows) format, we’re introducing two regular Lindy Hop levels, which you’ll choose to join either as a Leader or Follower:
We’re thrilled to welcome four amazing international swing dance teachers to Happy GetAway 2026:

– Elle & Asael
The Happy GetAway is a special chance to go spend a full weekend together with other passionate swing dancers. It’s a weekend of dancing, relaxing, eating delicious meals, and making memories with friends — all in one comfortable place. The weekend in details
Ari and Simon are swing dance teachers, performers and choreographers. Primarily focused on Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz. They are passionate about these dance forms, especially in the context of their cultural traditions, their values and their place as an artform.
Working together since 2016, they are now based in Madrid working globally as well as growing their online platform through Patreon.
They are an energetic and rhythmical couple who love the interplay between the individual, the music and the partner during a dance and how it can develop into a beautiful conversation.
They hold titles from the International Lindy Hop Championships, The Savoy Cup and The Korean Lindy Hop Championships, among others. Their passion for the dance and the culture of swing has grown with them and is something they constantly strive to develop and express, whether in classes, on stage or in competition.

Elle
Hailing from Australia and now Berlin-based, Elle has been exploring dance from an early age, dabbling in various styles. However, discovering Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz was when she felt most inspired, especially drawn to the conversational nature of jazz and the freedom it offers. In Berlin, Elle runs Jam Haus, a dance project centered on connection through movement as well as bridging jazz to other dance communities. She finds a lot of joy investing time in her community, regularly collaborating with local schools and cultural events, bringing people from diverse backgrounds together.
Asael
Originally from Mexico and now based in Berlin, Asael draws inspiration from self-expression, shared spaces, and storytelling through movement, which have fueled his dedication to exploring this African American art form over the years. He has a deep love for rhythms, and his passion for learning about Jazz culture and values has also inspired him to explore his own roots further, preserving Latin American influences in his art while uncovering their connections to Jazz.
Check out Elle & Asael’s dancing here:
– perfect if you have danced Lindy Hop for at least a year, but probably longer. Suitable for Lindy 6 or Lindy 7 students from Copenhagen.
Advanced+
– ideal if you have many years of Lindy Hop training and have traveled to international Lindy Hop events before. Suitable for Lindy 8 dancers in Copenhagen, as well as teachers.
We won’t be holding auditions, but trust that people have enough self-awareness to choose the right level. We do reserve the right to move students from one level to another, if we believe that would be a better fit for them.
If you need guidance in choosing the right level, feel free to write us an email at: info@happyfeetstudio.dk
