Description: This class will focus on improving your 30’s Charleston dancing – also called ‘Lindy Charleston’ because of the central place it has in modern Lindy Hop.
We will work on breaking down the most important Charleston moves like Tandem Charleston, so we understand how to lead/follow each part of the steps and have good quality of movement and good flow. We will also play around with some cool and unique variations and work on creative ways you can add musicality into your Charleston dancing.

Level: Recommended for dancers from Lindy Hop 4 to 7. If you are coming from another school, you must have taken Lindy Hop classes for at least six months.

Teachers: Betina & Rune

Description: Turns are among the most flashy and fun moves in Lindy Hop. A good turn is exhilarating and exciting, while a bad turn can crash harder than most other moves.

In this class, we will work on your basic turning technique and help you understand the many different types of turns in Lindy Hop. We will discuss how to lead/follow the difference between stepping or triple stepping through a turn and how to speed up or slow down a turn.

Level: Recommended for dancers from Lindy Hop 6 to 8. If you are coming from another school, you must have taken Lindy Hop classes for a year or more to join.

Teachers: Niomi & Birk

Description: If you ever feel like you’re just dancing the same moves over and over again, then this is the class for you. Here you will learn how to discover new variations for yourself as well as how to have more fun with the steps you already know. You will get tools to be more creative in your dancing and improvise magical and silly moments with your partner. You will also learn how to connect more with the music and discover your own self-expression and dance more like YOU – not anyone else. It’s going to be fun, silly, creative, fun, challenging and – most of all – fun!

Level: Recommended for dancers from Lindy Hop 4 to 7. If you are coming from another school, you must have taken Lindy Hop classes for at least six months.

By the end of the course, you will have a deeper understanding of the 8-count rhythm as well as the Swingout, bringing you closer to perfecting your Lindy Hop.
